"Music saved my life when I was in middle school."

My name is Séana and I'm 17. Music saved my life when I was in middle school. I wasn’t in a great place. My self-esteem was really, really low. I felt I wasn’t needed. Singing, music and the people in the arts community I was in boosted my confidence. It got me through. There’s a lot of kids going through similar or worse, and they're very artistic but have no outlet to express their creativity. If adults vote, they could help increase the younger generation's creative opportunities. Instead of creating robots, we should create fully expressed people. Sometimes it feels like everyone expects you to sit in offices and do steady jobs, but art is a serious subject as well! I'm too young to vote, but if I could I would. Please promise to vote, for me and for all the other artistic kids who need creative outlets. (And shout out to my school, Brooklyn Community Arts & Media!)

THANK YOU! LOVE yoU!
