I was born in Miami but grew up in Florida's prison system after being tried as an adult at 16. While incarcerated I earned my GED, and I'm now a law student at the University of Miami. However, since I'm not eligible to vote I'm also not eligible to take the bar exam and become a lawyer. This November through Amendment 4 I could regain my eligibility to vote and fully pursue my dream, along with 1.4 million other returning citizens. If you can vote, please promise me that you will!
